Jogology running socks: Shoes aren't the only thing that is key to running comfort
Looks like I finally found socks that are just right
Many years ago I discovered Brooks Ghost shoes and for several years that was my go to series because I never suffered a single issue with them after running hundreds of miles. Over the past couple of years I have experimented with some other shoes and there are other brands and models that I continue to test.
Although I am comfortable with my shoe selection, socks have been an area of regular frustration for me. I’ve had some that were too short, too scratchy, too thick, too thin, and not comfortable. I’ve paid good money for running socks, but have yet to find a favorite brand that I buy regularly and stick with.
The folks representing Jogology sent along a sample of the three models available; low cushion, medium cushion, and high cushion. I’ve ran with each of these three types over the past month and will continue to test them through the winter outdoor running season as I test their ability to hold up after many miles of running. Check out my YouTube video below for more details and please consider subscribing as I build up that channel.
So far, I am loving them with the perfect height, snug fit and comfort, seamless toes, and moisture-management system. The socks are built for left and right feet so pay attention to the designator on the socks.
I typically prefer lower cushion socks, but even the high cushion model has been a pleasure to wear as the rain and freezing conditions appear in the morning or late at night.
Jogology sells the socks for $16 at specialty running stores, such as Fleet Feet in the Puget Sound area.
